All the signs are there: families are organising Christmas get-togethers, and end-of-year leave is being booked. Where did all the time go?! One minute you were planning your goals for the year…the next you’re staring down the next one.

It can be disheartening. It questions why you are doing it and may even discourage you from trying again next year. Before you give up, you still have some time left. Try the steps below to give it one last push.

Prune, Prune, Prune

We’re optimistic at the start of the year. We have all these ambitious and audacious goals. Chances are you had too many. That’s why you didn’t get any done.

So cut back on them. Be ruthless. Cut back to one goal that you can focus on. This increases your chance of success. You will be tempted to keep more — just one goal.
